When love isn't knocking, it's time to do something different

Sis.
If your weekly routine is church, work, home… repeat, and you’re wondering why Prince Charming hasn’t tripped over your welcome mat — we need to talk.
Lovingly. Scripturally. Strategically.
Because here’s the truth:
You cannot be found if you are always hiding in the same three places.
Now before you clutch your pearls and say, “God knows my address,” let’s go to the Word.
Ruth Didn’t Stay Home WaitingIn the book of Book of Ruth, we see something powerful. Ruth was a widow. She could have sat in grief. She could have stayed inside. She could have waited for destiny to knock politely.
But Naomi — that wise, strategic, seasoned woman — had a plan.
She told Ruth to go glean in the fields.
And not just any field.
The field of Boaz.
That was not random. That was intentional.
Naomi didn’t say, “Stay home and pray harder.”
She said, “Go where the harvest — and the men — are.”
Let’s pause right there.
Faith Is Not HidingSome women are waiting on a man to show up at:

• The 8:45 AM devotional
• Your cubicle
• Or your living room couch

Respectfully… the odds are low.
And while God is sovereign, He is not opposed to strategy.
Ruth positioned herself. She showed up in a workplace environment. She worked. She was seen. She was observed. Boaz noticed her character because she was present.
You can’t be noticed if you’re never visible.
Church Is Beautiful — But It’s Not the Only FieldLet’s be honest.
If you attend a church with 30 members and 26 of them are married… your Boaz is not hiding behind the baptism pool.
Expanding your circle does not mean compromising your standards.
It means:
Visiting other churches

• Joining service organizations
• Attending conferences
• Volunteering in community spaces
• Taking classes
• Networking events
• Hobby groups

You can love Jesus and still go to a museum opening. I promise. And, although I met my husband at church, at the altar-note it wasn't my church.
Naomi EnergyNaomi represents something many women are missing — wise counsel that pushes you beyond comfort.
Sometimes love isn’t knocking because you haven’t opened new doors.

This message? This is your Naomi moment.
I’m not sending you to chase a man. I’m sending you to be found.
There’s a difference.

Do Something DifferentIf what you’ve been doing hasn’t produced the relationship you desire, the answer isn’t to pray harder while doing nothing different.
It’s to align prayer with action.
Scripture says in James 2:17 that faith without works is dead.
You can have faith for marriage… but works might look like:

• Updating your social presence (respectfully)
• Traveling
• Joining professional associations
• Expanding friendships
• Saying yes to invitations
  
• Not desperation.
• Intentionality.

This year I decided to do anything I would have previously said 'No' to. Why? Because it takes a village to sell books and if I never get the courage to be in the midst of people, how can I suggest my village?

Final Word, SisRuth didn’t manipulate Boaz.
She didn’t beg.
She didn’t dim her light.
She showed up in the field.
And the right man recognized her value.
So if love isn’t knocking…
It might be time to change fields.
