Purpose Will Find YouNo one could have told me that I would be a pastor and author. I grew up writing a whole lot of four page letters to my friends, but the truth is...I aspired to be a Play Boy Bunny. (Definitely my uncle's fault unaware). I was probing through his private book collection and thought there was so much beauty in nakedness. But when God has a plan for your life, it supersedes anything you could have ever imagined.

The Dream and Vision Collides....
I always dreamt of having a wonderful second chance at love. And God walked me into a church in Grand Cane, Louisiana, where my future was and my dreams came true.
When I married the man of my dreams, I read him a couple of poems I wrote and had stuffed in a blue bag. These writings would be the bridge that helped me get through some lonely nights in Yokosuka Japan. I envisioned myself in the second-grade as a writer, but never thought more about it. I read tons of books...thanks to my mother, Alma, but still no real aspirations to write....until, my earth king said, "As long as you write books, you will never have to work outside of our home."
My dream, collided with the vision he saw of me sharing my writings with the world.
This girl started writing and here are my first four books!

It's Never Too LateAt the age of 35, my daughter and aunt encouraged me to go to college. I felt way too old for that. Until one day, I was sitting in a parking lot and an angel pulled right beside where we were parked.
He was in the form of an older gentleman with gray hair. He reminded me that God had been directing me to go back to college. He said that I've been ignoring God, and I had been, but going to school was going to keep me from being homeless. Needless to say, "He wasn't lying. It did, and I did." Now, I have a masters degree in Religious Education and realize every opportunity for me to learn is an opportunity for me to grow. Along with being the Senior Pastor at New Vessels Ministries, I also work as a chaplain at Ochsner LSU Shreveport. |

Back To Her Second Loves After Only God......
As you see, we love each other and comes what may, we have one another's back. Isn't that's what family is about. But Meet My New Heart String......... Well this little girl with all the personality in the world is Ms. Emiya'rai Grace...MawMaw's first grandbaby. Lord, you will never know the joy this girl has brought into our lives and our family. She is a character indeed but we know she is a gift from God and will do great things for His Kingdom!

I truly do love all things Jesus, Family, & Books and I am so excited to share my world and my life with you. Before you leave and to those who think..."She's okay, just a little too preachy," listen at my all time favorite song in the whole wide world and you will understand why I have to share HIM with everyone I know, don't know, and in everything I do....For I am not ashamed and if we be ashamed to own HIM before men, He will be ashamed to own us before HIS FATHER! Be blessed...
