Did you know that when you pray, you are praying for your victory?
Think about that for a moment. What if the difference in what you are doing right now, whether you win or lose, is based upon if you pray and how often you pray. Tell me, would you win? We often wonder why prayer is so important. We also often forget that prayer is one of the most powerful and productive disciplines God gave to His children. So if prayer is so important, and if it is such a powerful and productive discipline, then why aren't we praying? Hold on, we will definitely revisit this particular question to find out the answer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NLT) says, "Never stop praying." (NIV) "Pray continually." (KJV / NASB) "pray without ceasing." Now here's another one for you. Luke 18:1 (NLT) says, "One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up." (NIV) "Then Jesus told the disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up." (NASB) "Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart." With this we understand, not only do we need to pray constantly, we are to continue and never give up. WOW! To read the rest of this blog, visit www.bloglovin.com/@danyellescroggins |
