For years I'd been waiting on everyone to help me with my book ministry and although it was going well, it was going really slow. My Bishop prophesied in my life that I'd produce eight new books and I promise there was something in his voice that clicked with my spirit. I could hardly get a peaceful nights rest for writing. Characters were bombarding my sleep and my dreams. Some nights it was so bad until I just succumbed to the computer.
You know we all have special gifts inside but sometimes we just don't have the mind to operate in those gifts until something happens. When I decided to release Not Too Far Gone, I thought....Lord if you don't help me, I'll be stranded in the  middle of the lake by myself. Then God gave me a Word to preach concerning getting off defense and moving to offense. It was at this point, I stopped praying, "Send me some help, send me an agent, send me a publisher....and I started saying, "Lord if you keep giving me stories, I'll keep producing them. 
So now  you have it! Danyelle Scroggins has now had a creative new mind to just do it. Whatever and however I can make it happen, I'm going to do it. If it fails, at least I'll know which way not to go in the future. If I succeed, at least I'll be able to tell someone else how I did it and guide them in the way. Either way, I am convinced that God has me and my faith is the new motivation to just do it.
