There's nothing like knowing with every fiber of your being that you were created for something special upon the earth. Some of us are born knowing there's something greater or that there's a greater expectation for us. We are always in search of the what, why, when, and how's of life. Some of us embedded with a longing that cannot be contained or made to disappear. This is merely a sure sign or the fact that we understand we were made for PURPOSE.
Just because you've chosen to ignore the longing; forfeiting something greater for the mere existence of everyday life, does not mean you are not purposed. I simply believe when God created us, He gave each of us individual purpose. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". Jeremiah 29:11 I believe the more we become spiritually tuned into Him, the more likely we are to embrace our PURPOSE. I believe we start to operate in our PURPOSE when we truly understand that it's our contribution for being blessed to have Kingdom Citizenship upon the earth. It is the way we give back unto a God who gave us His very own Son, in order that we may have abundant life. ".......; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 I can remember when I was a teenage girl and I would ask my mother if I could do something declaring everyone was doing that. She would ask, "If everyone else is jumping off a bridge is that what you're gonna do?" I didn't understand it then but that was the beginning of my mother trying to get me to chart my own course. She'd given me the special necessities to find my way when she introduced me to Christ. Now she was trying to get me to trust my course without following behind someone else in theirs. As I write in my upcoming book Processed for Purpose, I still hated doing anything by myself. Then God put me on an island alone with Him and there I learned to hear His voice. I also realized I had PURPOSE. What exactly? I didn't know fully as I gathered in part. Now, even as I write I can remember being taken out of my classroom when I was in the seventh grade. I didn't know where I was being summoned but I knew I hadn't did anything to be in trouble. Low and behold, I had been nominated seventh grade favorite girl! Imagine the excitement but at the same time fear. Although it was a huge honor to be considered amongst my peers, it was also a huge burden. Nonetheless, it was my mother's wisdom that settled me. She said, "God has picked you out so whenever and wherever you go in life, the same people who picked you will still consider you as their right choice. You must always remember to be a good friend to those who desire a friend, stay humble, and embrace yourself as the leader you are." I believe it was at this very moment, a seed was planted in me and although I would struggle through tons of processes to get where God desired me to be, I would continue to strive to get there. You may feel like you've lost too much time, or you aren't worthy of doing anything except what you do now, but allow me to PUSH you into your PURPOSE by saying this....IT IS NEVER TOO LATE IF YOU ARE ALIVE! Today is a new day, and a new opportunity for you to embrace whatever it is God has created you for. Be Blessed! Comments are closed.
