In my book Put It In Ink, the first letter presented to host Sappora Ink on her blog talk show was from a single woman being solicited by the advances of married men and women. Now, when you take a look at this topic I know like you probably have seen all the people all over the world who have decided that it is okay to not only share in a marital relationship and be in a same sex relationship. In this book, I am not trying to bash their decisions, but I am trying to make the Word of God be true. We are free moral agents and we are subject to choose what is best for us and we are definitely the only one who will stand before God to give an account to that choice. And I personally thank God for this right.
Nevertheless, in this book, I share that just because you have chosen your right to do as you chose, it does not give you the authority to make me feel like your choice is right. What is right for you, is not always right for someone else. I think this world would be altogether a better place if we stop trying to dictate the minds of others. We cannot make white people love black people or vice versa, but what we can say to all people is that God is a God of love and if you are ever going to be a product of His Kingdom, you must love all people. There are people whom I love dearly that do not share the same morals or values as I do. Does this make me love them less? Certainly not. I am only held responsible for my love or lack of love for them and if I chose the latter, I am subject to whatever punishment that God will hand down to me. I'm reminded here, "Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin." (James 4:17) Each topic that is handled in this book is handled with care and consideration. I try with sensitivity to those who may be trapped in these sins to see situations from all sides. I also try with compassion to persuade people that there is a way that seems right for us but will end in destruction....there is really only right way and I'm 100% sure, that's God's way. I know someone might ask: How do I find out what's God's way? The first and foremost way is to read the Word of God. Secondly, my sure fire way of knowing God's way is to pray; communicate with God. And thirdly, my final suggestion to know God's way is to learn more about Him....through people, books, blogs, church, etc. When you read this book, please read it with an open heart and mind. Read it as if you are reading for enjoyment and allow it to resonant in your heart and mind for what it is worth. And in the back of someone's mind is the question, Danyelle you still didn't tell us how you feel about being a mistress or homosexuality? Well if you read His Mistress or God's Daughter, you will find my thoughts on mistresses but in all reality, my thoughts don't matter on either. I believe what God says about both and I don't have the right to question His authority on either matter. Be Blessed! The first letter is found on Page 14 in Put It In Ink!
