The Jews believed in the prophecy that the Messiah would rescue them from man's oppression, but when the Messiah came because He did not look like what they thought He should, they rejected Him.
How many times have you rejected what the Lord had for you because it did not look like or fit the description you had in your mind? What I find so ironic is,
So, even in that, can you see how someone who doesn't appreciate their blessing could very well turn out to be someone else's greatest blessing? It's life. May this thought remind us all to appreciate what God has given us. And if by chance you don't enjoy what you have, be willing to let it go freely.
